Our Story

Rhyno Mills have been producing quality animal feed at our current location in Castleisland for almost 100 years. We are conveniently located to service the farmers of Kerry, Cork and Limerick with all ruminant feeds. Our Story is told below

Where It All Began

Rhyno Mills has a deep tradition in milling that stretches back over 100 years. A mill has operated on the current site since 1846 and was re-opened in 1926 by the O’Connor family as an animal feed mill, who own the mill to this present day. Supporting the local community and supplying quality feed to farmers in the local hinterland and beyond has always been and will remain a cornerstone of the business.  

Modern Milling

Rhyno Mills has evolved into a progressive, modern mill. All raw materials are consistently high quality, sourced from approved suppliers. All formulations tested continually to guarantee traceability and compliance with the highest standards in the industry.
 
Our Trusted experienced mill operators use modern milling equipment to produce top quality cubed and coarse blends. Rhyno Mills Feeds are carefully formulated to maximise the efficiency and performance of your animals, while also complementing and balancing energy, protein, vitamin and mineral requirements. 
 
Rhyno Mills nutritional team welcome bespoke formulations to cater for individual farming production systems. Our delivery and distribution service is provided by a team of experienced drivers, delivering bulk feed and bagged feed to farmers throughout West Munster. Our mission is to ensure that every order is processed, manufactured and delivered in a timely and professional manner.
